Jessica-finally the tables are starting to turn's Blurbs
About me:

I don't believe in mindlessly following a lot of traditional things and attitudes - religions, relationships, diets, life paths, ambitions, families, etc. When I was in school, I was very good at it, and all the people whose ass I was kissing thought that I was bound for great things (getting a "good" education at some institution funded by the government/corpotations)... Fortunately, I disappointed them and dropped out to follow my dreams of making the world a better place to live. Even the people who sympathized with me for being fed up with that shit hole known as the public school system still think I should just go get a job, but I'm not going to do that either because I think that capitalism is incredibly evil, exploitive and immoral.

When it comes to labels, I'm a vegan, queer, anti-capitalist, anarchist unschooler. Some of that isn't necessarily obvious in my life right now, and a lot of people seem to have this idea that I'm just a rebellious, opinionated teenager who hates everything, but that's far from the truth, as anyone who actually knows me could tell you. My current goal right now is to find more like-minded people (I only know one at the moment), which I think will require moving out of Gatlinburg, something I am more than fine with. I really just want to find a group of people that I click with so we can work together on our common goals.
I have all these ideas of the kind of world I'm working for, and I'm definitely fighting for something better, not just against everything I see. I want the kind of world where every person and species is treated fairly and all beings have the freedom to live their lives as they see fit without infringing on the freedom of anything else, and where everyone has a meaningful life as opposed to just sucking it up and working for the man in some boring, mindless job making shit no one needs. Holy fucking shit! Do you really have a song on your profile that doesn't completely suck? Wow. A political anarcho-punk band signed to an indie record label that cares about social issues and not just making money or showing how awesome and artsy they are? I would have never expected this from you... Hell, Naked Aggression even plays real instruments. Holy fucking shit!

Hi, Jessi. I'm just trying to get caught up on my internet activism. It doesn't take long for it to add up, does it? Have you see the new sedition of It's the END of the World AS We KNOW It and I Feel FINE? I'm definately going to watch that shit tomorrow! I love subMedia. I'm going to get off for now though. I'll talk to you tomorrow. I hope you have a (relatively)good night and (relatively)happy tomorrow. Lol.

We'll be getting together, training, and being part of history. That doesn't sound too boring to me.

"I need something more." Great, I'm hearing that one already...

Well, most of the stories in The Teenage Liberation Handbook are probably extraordinary. Either way, there's definately more you could be doing with your life. You should have patience in your search, but I don't mean just sit around doing nothing.
It is weird thinking about how much our communication used to be through email. I like talking over the phone better for the most part. How about you?

You think four hours by yourself is killer? Just wait until you have to spend seven hours in a car with me. Hahahaha!

It really sucks that you have to choose between living somewhere you like with no friends or somewhere you hate with mediocre friends. Lol. It is too bad you can't have both.

I'm glad you're having a good time at Theresa's. Perhaps you should go there more often. Just go there some random weeks or something.

You'll have to give me that vegan lasagna recipy sometime. Mom loves lasagna.

So, what have you been up to today?

Again, it went pretty okay.(Saturday)

Okay, I hope visit continues to go well.
I'll talk to you later.

Feb 10 2009 4:08 AM

Oh, I know. I wasn't talking about mainstream liberals, I was talking about the people lobbying for climate change during Power Shift 2009... But most of them are probably mainstream liberals... I'm sure there's still some cool people doing that though... Maybe...
Ugh. You're talking about Obama liberals. I definately wasn't trying to defend them. Lol. Yeah, buying free-range meat really is going too far, Jessi. Are you some kind of extremist?

The Teenage Liberation Handbook is pretty kick ass.

Even the smallest book on ways to combat global warming should just say "stop eating meat." One of the top three causes, people! Is that not enough!? It's not that fucking hard either!! Just have a shred of will power, compassion, or intelligence!

The system takes radical things that are getting too big for their liking and redistributes a watered-down version of into the mainstream. That way the corporations and governments can give their version of it to everyone before the truth reaches people. Just look what corporations and governments have turned things like peace, anarchy, feminism, environmentalism, veganism, and freedom into.
Yup, the system hates when people think. Now women don't have to think though. I mean, they achieved what they wanted. The chance to waste their lives working for the system like men. That's what feminism is all about, right?

Tell me about it. Americans live insanely harmful lives. If everyone lived like the average American we'd need three times the natural resources we have now. Buying shit isn't usually a good thing to do for the planet. There's definately some things one can/should possess to help stop global warming, but most the time the answer is to stop buying shit, yo. Or I'll shoot you in the ass.
"Green" should mean being a true environmentalist, not money. "Black" should mean being a true anarchist, not emo bullshit.
Fuck the System!

Feb 10 2009 4:07 AM

Well, if I'm not mistaken, you weren't as liberal back then.(when you voted for Obama) Lol. I thought from the beginning that he would get elected. I just knew that he was the one... Jesus... I mean, Obama. Sorry, but like most Americans I get those two mixed up every now and then.

Definately! I can't wait to see and talk to you again. Yes, we are.(long overdue for some ranting)
"Shouldn't talk about this here?" Oh, fuck them! Wait... MySpace has turned in a "terrorist" before...
No, we'll give a hell a message to the government even without violence! Record numbers! Listen up, bitches! You work for us! But yeah... Violence if that does work out.

Okay, I've been to Canada, but I hardly remember anything. It was a long time ago. If I left the U.S. I sure as hell wouldn't be coming back this time though. I mean, even if I wanted to, they make it so hard to enter now.
Yeah, I can't wait to go to California for good. Tennessee doesn't have alot going for it.
I know! It is a hard decision!(Washington D.C. or East Tennessee) I really would miss all the close-minded conservatives...
I doubt our trip will need alot of planning or research. But there's definately some stuff we should think about. I can't wait to plan it all out and do it!! Oh, and the closest training thing to us would be in Asheville on the 21st.(the Saturday before) So, everything should work out really well. I can't wait!

I can handle warmer, but you're pretty much going to be really hot if you do anything when it's in the 80s. But that's summer weather. If it's too hot for us here I guess we should just move...
Yes, it's bizarre. Mom, Brian, and I had (nut)milkshakes today. Lol.

Um... I've been really bored the last few days, but before that I was just doing the usual. And today I was just hanging out with Sierra. We are doing pretty okay for once too.

Ha. I definately don't mind you talking alot. Again, I've missed our talks.
Hey, I almost had to divide my last comment into two comments, and my reply was three comments long. So, don't apologize.

Anyway, I hope your trip is going well.
I'll talk to you later.

The Dummies Guide to Going Green? That doesn't sound too good. Oh dear Jesus... Not another change your lightbulbs "go green" book! How could you not suggest reducing your meat-consumption?? Even the U.N. says it's one of the biggest contributors to global warming. Okay, the "green" thing used to awesome too! Fucking mainstream pollution!! Green used to be the hardcore environmentalist thing. Like "red" and communism. Oh, and black used to be a color of action. Black is anarchy! Everyone should be wearing passive white instead of non-compromising black!

I'm sure we'll work something awesome out! Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.(doing the training before the protest) We could get out of the house, go to Asheville, train, hang out... It all sounds good to me.
Yup, I just read the activist part of The Teenage Liberation Handbook yesterday.

Well, I'm surprised that it's already the 7th. I think February will go by fairly quickly. It sounds like we'll be doing some pretty cool stuff too. So, that'll help.

"Until you spread your wings, you'll never know how high you can fly. So, spread your goddamn wings, or I'll shoot you in the ass!"
Yeah, you just need to find something you'd be okay with doing. I'm sure you'll have no problem doing something once you have something to do. It is harder to find cool stuff around here though... I'm sure we'll find something to do though.

You do have a priceless sense of humor, Jessica.

Yeah, I really miss you already; I'm glad we're talking online though. It did suck not seeing today, but I'm glad you're still at your mom's. I'm sure you're not ready to come back yet.

So, how's the trip going so far?
