About me:
Fascinated by the explosion of fantastic zine writing in the 1990s, Garrett County Press was formed to publish the underground, anti-work publication Temp Slave. Best of Temp Slave came out in 1997 and was followed by Guinea Pig Zero, Ivan Petrov: Russia through a Shot Glass and Little Tenement on the Volga. In 2004, we merged with New Mouth from the Dirty South, publishers of Tales of a Punk Rock Nothing and Gynomite. More information at gcpress.com.

You can't even imagine how bad I am at basketball. Shooting baskets alone yesterday I was like 2 for 6,000
I don't even want to go into what went down when I was jumping rope.

See you in the lounge.

The torch of editing the zine yearbook has been passed to us at Microcosm and we are beginning to assemble the 9th annual Zine Yearbook for 2007! "Wow!" you're saying to yourself, "I sure wish my zine was in there!" Well, it can be! Simply send a copy to us with a note explaining your intentions. All you need to qualify is a print run of less than 5,000 copies and to have been published in 2007. Deadline for submissions is Dec 31 so hurry! Space is limited so not every submission will be included. Make sure to provide all of your contact information and get in touch with questions. Please also let us know if you could hang up posters in your town!
Thanks to Richrd for making the posters.

Thanks for the add and the support, Garrett County Press.

The New Orleans Musicians Relief Fund finally has merch (click piano). NOmrf pays no office rent and stays grass roots to help each dollar go further. Hundreds of displaced musicians have received grants since 8/29/5.

Here's our manifesto on bringing musicians home and keeping them all safe.

All though I'm not a strong reader. I only learned a year ago. I've try my best to read all of the GC Press books that I am able. I ask for recommendations any they are kind enough to point to ones without a lot of big words and when I get stuck or I don't what a word means (I'm just starting to learn how to use a dictionary) when I call or write to ask what a words means GC Press has always been kind enough to point me in the right direction. Someday when I learn to write on my own I aspire to write a book that will hopefully be published by them. Also thank you to the barista at the cafe who helped me type my words.
