Influences
All of the amazing wizardrocking people I've met.

Andrea Lewis- She's a pretty big influence on me at the moment. She basically inspires me to do so much more than I need to and makes me want to be a good person. So, musically, I find myself only really writing about her. Plus, she's incredibly talented in her own right and I'm awed by her.
Mark Wischkaemper- He was the first wizard rocker that ever really felt like a friend. He helped me bridge the gap between awkward wizrock fan girl and full on wizard rocker. He's hugely helpful and sweet. His music makes my heart sing, really, and I'm intensely driven by that to be like him. He's my bud.
Mandala Rakauskas- Aside from being one of the nicest people I've ever met, and one of the cleverest lyricists in the world, she has a comfortable floor. I owe her tons.
Lauren Fairweather- She sings and writes music and is loved by many, and in many ways I want to be her when I grow up.
The Gryffindor Common Room Rejects was formed by Amber Opsincs and Shawn Reed in the summer of 2007. Together, we've played shows and written and recorded and entire album.
Shawn's decided to leave the band, because that's what was best for her. Don't worry, though! I'll be carrying on the legacy of The Gryffindor Common Room Rejects alone. While it'll be hard for me to continue writing music without her overwhelming amounts of talent, I hope I can do the band name justice and keep creating some pretty awesome music.
I apologize in advance, because the previous songs were recorded on some pretty stellar equipment that I no longer have access to, so the sound quality of the new songs might be considerably muddier. I'm sorry! Right now, I just don't have the money to buy my own equipment but I promise I'll fix this as soon as I can.
Fortunately, I'm working on some music so there will hopefully be some more stuff up soon!

The reverb on Dear Diary doesn't sound that bad at all. I think it's fine. It sort sounds like you're in a bathroom, which sorta makes sense so... yeah. I like it. Good job :)

At my school, I am going to have a fundraiser in order to support the LGBT. (If you don't know what that means, it's the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parties.) Today is the Day of Silence, and I think it's a great kick off for this fundraiser. People are highly influenced by the power of music, and by the power of books. What does that mean? Wizard Rock. We are going to have a large get together where we are playing Wizard Rock music, watching Harry Potter, etc. All the money we earn is going to be donated to support these groups of people. If any of you have any clothing merchandise, or new - and affordable - c.d. 's, please message me, so I can purchase them from you and we can auction them off at this event! THANK YOU!
