Premeditated Media	Dec 6 2007 12:58 AM Whether you know it or not - earlier this month we become involved in an all female Hip Hop festival called Bsupreme -held at Londons South Bank Centre - here's a video of highlights from this years festival that took place at the beginning of the month (music and video naturally by us)... As Hip Hop artists - B-girls seldom get taken seriously by their male counterparts...you're more likely to see a woman semi naked in a Hip Hop Video than out dancing and out fronting the boys...this festival is there to change all that - There aren't many B-Girl festivals internationally...although there's loads for the guys...it's a battle - but one I think the girls might be quietly winning... It was an amazing event - I was completely blown away by the international dancers -The artists came from everywhere - the US, Denmark, France, Germany, Brazil, Sweden - you name it - as well as a strong British contingent - their seriousness, their dedication and the fact that they could dance like banshees for 8 hours straight really impressed me....and also the fact that everybody was just really easy going and fun to be with - being an all female event - there were no egos or macho bullshit... Big Respect to Holly and Judi at Independance, Rockafella, Asia One, Kimberly Jay, Flowzaic, hausfraus, Styliquents, Venus Fly Trap, and everybody else (too many to mention) who were just damn cool to us...look 'em up on myspace and add 'em This one's for the girls...
