Our aim is to research and portray as accurately as possible the rifle men of an armoured reconnaissance unit within the elite 'Grossdeutschland' Division of World War II.
Our members have many reasons for joining the group. Some have a keen historical interest in WWII, some have interest in the weapons and tactics used, others join for theKameradschaft, but above all our goal is to share the knowledge that we have about the conflict and the soldiers that fought in it.
We attempt to set the highest possible standards in all areas of our portrayal - from our uniforms and equipment to our living history displays and battle reenactments.
As you will see from the pictures this page, we attend many different events throughout the season, from tactical weekends, to public displays - we've even taken part in TV work.

Who I'd like to meet: 2009 got off to a great start with some really good shows on our events list. Take a look at our pictures to see what we do.With our new second impression 'PzGr Regt 304'. We also have a number of Kombi motorcycles in the group now and a couple of other vehicles that are in the process of getting ready for next season.
plus we have a Kublewagon and Schwimmwagen to use when required.
We are always on the lookout for motivated recruits with historical knowledge and a genuine interest in WW2 and especially 'Grossdeutschland' (an interest in German beer is also helpful for when the public goes home).
We welcome people with ideas, creativity and the drive to push yourself and our group forward.
As well as the need for Schützen we have specific vaccancies for medical and signals personel to compliment our growing infantry unit.
