Formerly the singer and guitarist of grunge trio ‘Inextremis’. ‘Broken Carnival’ was a one man band formed in 2002.
He also plays under the name Grant Huw Phillips and ‘Sleepy G’.
Since the release of 'Home Recodings: Volume One' in 2004 and the birth of www.brokencanival.4t.com in 2005 he has gained a loyal following of music fans from across the globe.
Volume 3 released in 2007 met with critical aclaim and dispite being the first collection of broken carnival home recordings to utalise digital technology, his music has lost none of it's lo-fi charm.
'Bricks and Stones' is the title of his new album and it is his first album to feature both ukulele and concertina.
