In 1984 Gee worked with George Michael who asked him to work with Wham as background vocalist. He accepted and toured with them for 2 years.

In 1985 Capitol Records became interested in his talents and he recorded his first solo album with Lonnie Simmonds and The Gap Band in Los Angeles, California, USA
Gee has studied voice training in LA, with Seft Riggs one of the Worlds finest vocal teachers. Sefts pupils included Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, Madonna and Patti Labelle.
In between recordings his vocal and percussion playing talents have been put to good use on the live tours of many top bands and producers such as George Michael, Jason Donovan, Jelly Bean Benitez, Spandau Ballet, Beverley Craven, Barry Blue (producer of Heatwave Boogie Nights), Colin Thurston (producer of Duran Duran, Human League, Aretha Franklin, Incognito & Simple Minds).
Today, Gee continues to work with Light of the World, who are touring in 2006, which will also coincide with the release of the bands anthology "Addicted To Funk"on EMI.
