About Andrew Lauzon, Composer/Producer/Session Musician
In a nutshell...
I'm a Toronto-based Producer/Composer/Session Musician/Engineer and all-around lover of music. In short, I'm an Audio Geek!!!
I love all styles of music and welcome the challenge of trying anything new. I am an experienced session musician and excel as a guitarist, bassist and vocalist, and have ample experience on both sides of the glass, having been fortunate enough to work some of the best in the biz, most notably: Sylvia Massy (Tool, Johnny Cash), Steve Thompson (Soundgarden, Korn, Aretha Franklin) and Jagori Tanna (I Mother Earth, Sarah Slean).
I have composed in many different styles (orchestral, funk, metal, country, etc...) and my work has appeared on Global, Slice, OLN, MuchMusic, MuchLoud, MTV2, BOLD, YTV, FoxKids and numerous international networks. Over the past year, I've completed work on three films: A dark, brooding score for Ryan M. Andrews' psychological thriller, "A New Design", an unsettling, intense score for the short film, "Behind Closed Doors" and additional custom scored scenes for Fusion Films' new comedy, "Slightly Used".
THIS PLAYER contains music that I've WRITTEN and/or ARRANGED. I've engineered the recordings, and played all of the instruments (except a couple).
