About Andrew Lauzon, Composer/Producer/Session Musician
In a nutshell...
I'm a Toronto-based Producer/Composer/Session Musician/Engineer and all-around lover of music. In short, I'm an Audio Geek!!!
As a producer, I believe in serving the song, but also challenging the musicians and pushing the limits of creativity. My instrumental abilities are strongest on guitar, bass and vocals, and I am often called upon to contribute my playing skills to projects that I am producing and/or engineering.
My compositions have appeared on Global, Slice, OLN, MuchMusic, MuchLoud, MTV2, BOLD, YTV, FoxKids and numerous international networks. I composed music for "Think Big" Season 2, which will debut on TVO this fall, and have worked on three films over the past year: A dark, brooding score for Ryan M. Andrews' psychological thriller, "A New Design", an unsettling, intense score for the short film, "Behind Closed Doors" and additional custom scored scenes for Fusion Films' new comedy, "Slightly Used". I look forward to scoring Ryan's newest horror film, "Black Eve" starring Veronika London.

Happy St. Patty's Day from Basia Lyjak :) "Don't Talk", the New Single has officially been sent off to print and will be ready in a couple of days. The release party is this Thursday night, March 20th, 2008 at the Annex Wreckroom, and it's a long weekend, so no excuses! =) From Other Planes, Shortwave and Alternate End are also playing, and part of ticket proceeds go towards Sketch. ca, an amazing open arts studio for homeless youth in Toronto. Donations for the Queen St. W fire victims are also being accepted, with $2 knocked off door fees for those who bring something.
We hope to see as many old and new faces out as possible, as this is a really important occasion, and we want to share it with as many fans and friends as possible!

I just finished recording my 3rd release, Perfekt World, with an album release party on March 26th at Crash Mansion! Doors at 7 PM. I will also be at the Blender Theater at gramercy this Saturday night with Emerson Hart (from Tonic). My Canadian Release will be April 18th or 19th, check the site for details soon.
