    Geek Tragedy's Interests
GeneralDrawing, writing (despite the fact that my spelling and grammar suck), computers, eating pickles and pizza (not always together though), movies, reading, travel, gaming (of course I never seem to have the time for those last three), knitting puppies, long walks through your house late at night when you're sleeping...

Oh and Webcomics! Love webcomics! In fact, here's a list of a few of the ones I visit regularly (in no real order):

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal
Least I Could Do
Bardsworth
Housed
Gu Comics
Joe and Monkey
Yirmumah
Theater Hopper
Brat-Halla
Everyone Drunk But Me(but I don't think this one updates anymore)

I know I'll add more once I have all my bookmarks sitting in front of me...

MusicI'm not really into music, but when I do listen to it, it's mostly punk (in its many forms), alt rock, rock, old school metal, and NO COUNTRY MUSIC WHATSOEVER! And no, Johnny Cash isn't country, he's in a catagory all his own. He's western gothic!
MoviesOh man, this list would just go on forever, and ever so I'm gonna stop once I hit ten movies. Here goes:

The Crow, Serenity, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Seven, Memento, Gosford Park, Turbulance 3: Heavy Metal (yes, I'm serious), Battle Royale, everything by Kevin Smith (even Jersey Girl), every movie I've even seen with Sigourney Weaver in it, Devils Rejects, Nicholas Nickleby, Love Actually, House of Flying Daggers...I've gone over ten haven't I?

Well I think you get the idea that I love movies...

TelevisionI really don't get much of a chance to watch TV anymore, but when I do/did here are some of the shows I enjoyed:

Buffy, Firefly, The Daily Show, Deadwood, The Wire, My Name is Earl, The office, Dead Like Me, Justice League, Batman (all the animated versions of it that I've seen), Dr. Who (new and old), Farscape, Stargate SG-1 & Atlantis, Kids in the Hall, Mythbusters, Stuntdawgs...that's all I can think of.

BooksJust about everything ever written by Orson Scott Card, with special shout outs to Speaker for the Dead and Lost Boys (no, it has nothing to do with vampires).

I also have a weakness for fantasy novels, especially the Forgotten Realms books by Elaine Cunningham, and the Nightrunner books by Lynn Flewelling.

I also loved Microserfs...

Man I wish I had more time to read...

HeroesGreen Lantern (Hal Jordan only of course), Orson Scott Card, my mom (no, I'm not a mama's boy, she's just an incredible woman so shut up!), the guy who lived across the street from me who saved me from drowning...who else...oh, and every single person who visits Geek Tragedy! You all rock!

About me:
Well for starters I kinda hate writing about myself. So if you really want to know about me then the best way I can think of is to meet me in person. But then again I'm pretty much a hermit, so you'd have a better chance of meeting a unicorn.

Of course you could always try to gain some insight into what makes me tick by checking out my webcomic over at...

wait for it...

don't you just love the antici...

...

pation...

Okay I beat this dead horse enough for one day. Here's the link:

Geek Tragedy

So there you go. I hope you enjoy my little bit of digital nonsense.

Who I'd like to meet:
Steve McQueen, Jim Henson, Hal Jordan (Green Lantern), Johnny Cash, Sammy Davis Jr, Kinji Fukasaku, Jack Monroe (Nomad)...

As for people who aren't dead or fictional (or both)...

Jon Stewart, Joss Whedon, Paul Newman, Robert Redford, the guys who invented corn nuts and "One second plumber" (you both did good there), Chris Claremont...wow, this could go on forever I think, so I'll just end i-

Oh wait! And the asshole who keyed my car that one time! Yeah, I'd like to meet that guy too...jerk!

Hey Ed, if you continue to have problems with Dreamhost give Globat. com a look, I've worked with people who host through them and I'm going to be using them myself soon. They've got a fair price, great rates, and a good customer support system.

Maybe I'll be able to get my full fix of GT undisturbed now! (Well, other then Frank in the buff...)

yeah man, I have a comic I do my self, but it's just no where near your level with the art. I've only been at it for a couple months. But yeah, I've shown your comic to the people that read mine and they really love it too.

Heya Ed,

First off - sorry it took so long for me to add you up. I'm still going through your damn archives! Anyway, it was great meeting you at Connecticon, and we should do that button exchange.

Much love,

Cool to see you're an AppleGeeks fan! I wish I had a fraction of the talent that Hawk does...

You do have more than a fraction of Hawk's talent. You're actually really talented. At least, I think so; my opinion may not count for much but it's still my opinion.

lol well, it was okay. I made $16 off of raffling that teddy bear which really wasn't as much as I was hoping for. Lots of the artists didn't show up I think I noticed 3 empty tables. But yes, the one in October should be much better and I think the masquerade should be quite fun!
Oh, are you planning to be at keycon?
