Record producer Gee Pierce worked primarily with Michigan-based artists in the late ’90s before being cited as a promising talent in the early 2000s. In the late ’90s, he worked with underground hardcore rap artists from the Flint/Detroit, MI, area such as Top Authority and Flint emigrant MC Breed. In the early 2000s, he worked with the Dayton Family collective, but garnered the most attention for his work with Breed, most notably the veteran rapper’s Fharmacist album in 2001, which he primarily produced with the exception of only a few tracks. Rapidly becoming known as the Music Industry’s best kept secret, Gee Pierce (U Be U Productions CEO and Founder) music production continues to take the world by storm.

Since his induction into the music business, Gee has managed to captivate several industry heavyweights with his dynamic sound, Thus allowing him to build a foundation for whats only phase one in the future of music production itself.

Gee is also known as the "go to guy" (like Micheal Jordan was to the chicago bulls) by several of the Billboard charting artists he has produced. Names such as (but not limited to): Lil Flip, Young Bloods, Kool G Rap, RZA, Lamont Dozier, Dayton Family, Mack Da Jacka, Jake The Flake, MC Breed, Howard Hewett, Top Authority, Ill Street, Tito 6, The Process and Skanbino Mob.

He has also written and produced original music for the television shows "Sister Sister", "Family Matters" and "Dangerous Minds".

Because of his vast and proficient skills in music production and recording technology, Mr. Pierce has been able to work with some of the most advanced technological studios in america. These studios include DARP, Power House of Sound, Chun Kings, Jeff Lobbers studio, Chicago Trax and Chicago Recording Company. This lead to the birth of the new U Be U Production House. With U Be U Production House in effect, music industry executives Suzanne De Passe, Ian Burke, Pilar McCurry, Leroy McMath, Fab5Freddy and Row "Black Prince" Cormier put Gee to work right away. Now Gee is taking underground artist talent and providing them with Mainstream production. He has currently produced two albums for Tommy Boy Records, for artists ShoeString (of Dayton Family) and Skanbino Mob, but there is still more to expect from him in the near future.
