I'm bartending @ Rockstarz (old sundowns/nickels) on fowler/carrel...You should come out fri &/or Saturday for (fri)7 live bands/free cover with canned food donation (to harry chapin) and (sat)2 band incl Second Sign..I'd love to see ya out..If you can't make it ..Tuesday nites are open mic nite (my boss plays guitar and it's kinda a karaoke setup with a real guitar and lyrics) ..wednesday is ladies nite (drink free allll nite).hope to see you soon!
EH! So, get this...My exboss Sean Corey (karaoke) let another client down...Martini's cancelled karaoke b/c of the worst night of patronage/sales EVER on halloween ..I swear there was no more than 10 people there at once (including the DJ and bartenders)...The owners realized that no one was there for the karaoke by Sean, but rather just to see the band! HAHA Kharma is a bitch and he screwed me outta $300 the last time I worked for him (not even mmentioning the many other times previous that he docked my checks here and there for "miscellaneous" reasons) What a douchebag...I knew payback would be sweet! hahah
Anywho..you should come out one week and drink anyway with me..the band still plays on wednesdays and if you are up for it, I can set up a special set of songs to do with the band without any karaoke needed (they are my buds and they'll be more than happy to jam)
Let me know anytime you are hittin the town! We have to hang out soon :)
