Late night burritos, free pizza, drink tickets, dancing the night away, living paycheck to paycheck, young love, Athens, Georgia, that Cranberries song....you know?

Sounds Like
Marie says: "It sounds like dancing, on a surfboard, in your garage."
Blake says: "It sounds like summertime fun."
Sara says: "It sounds like proto-Crabcore without the core and without the crab."
This isn't serious, We play this stuff for fun with our friends for something fun to do when we're not slaving away writing papers, sitting in class, or busting our butts at low paying jobs. That stuff takes a toll on you and before you know it blammo! We're all gone. So let's get together and have some good times while we can, you know?

"The How and Why" cassette ep. (SOLD OUT)
It's like this:
Blake met Sara, they decided to pick up instruments and record some songs at summer camp about 2 young folks in love. Started playing house shows in Athens with a rotating cast of bandmates including Jay Henriques, Davy Gibbs, Raoul De la Cruz, Missy Kulik, and Wyatt Strother. Released a cassette tape of summer camp inspired songs in 2007 on Popgun recordings. Toured the Southeast in 2008 and wrote a new batch of songs based on their experiences. Fall 2008 included a much needed time out and a meeting with current drummer Marie Uhler. More friends were involved including Jace, Erica, Waylon, Jacob, Sabrina, and mummies! Another southeast tour followed in summer '09 followed by a 7" ep release in October.
Oh gosh man. There's no telling what Ernest said. Last real memories I have with him is when I was in the 8th grade... little annoying boy for Taylor County.
sometimes, it is better to quote something brilliant rather than try and say something brilliant yourself.
