I love to write. Some days, it's the only thing that lets me breathe. It clears out the confusion and chaos in my head. Music - it's the words I can't find sometimes. TV - I'm addicted, get over it. Movies - great escapes. Reading - you have to read to write. Or write well, anyway. Traveling - Sis, help me out here! You're the one with the hookups there....
Music
Definitely my main thing lately
But if you looked at my Zune, you'd think I was MPD. I have a little of everything from classical to depression-era blues to jazz to classic rock to country to heavy metal to trance to hip hop to trip-hop to dance to alternative to grunge....
My music playlist reads more like a record store inventory. I can't help it. There's so much OUT THERE to experience....
Movies
Saw it, loved it, wanna see it again.
I just love movies period. Not a big fan of westerns (okay, 3:10 to Yuma and Tombstone are my exceptions) or comedies. I used to hate musicals, but I guess tastes change as you grow up, right?
BtVS, Angel, SPN, Kyle XY, Smallville, Bones, Dark Angel, CSI, X Files, Roswell, Supernatural.... are we noticing a trend here? Thank God for Netflix - I'm staying sane.
Books
American Gods by Neil Gaiman, The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, and anything Megan Hart writes! (If you haven't read it yet, pick up "Broken" - hot and heartbreaking. Megan, you rock!), JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Kim Harrison's The Hollows series, Rachel Caine (Morganville and Weather Warden series), Dean Koontz,
Heroes
My mom, because she's stronger than even she knows. Echo (Liz Ashe) and Megan Hart, for breaking into the career I long for and doing it without compromising their work or their personalities. My sons, for being compassionate and passionate about what they believe - and forcing me to see things from new perspectives. My dad for being a survivor - OHHHHHH RAH! Semper Fi.
What is there to say? I'm 32, a blogger, a mom, a sci-fi junkie, a reader, a writer, a witch. A woman with a strong opinion about everything. Including this. I swore I'd never get into MySpace because it was just another "thing" I had to keep track of, maintain, update, and devote my attention to. And yet, here I am. If you can't handle people who express themselves and are a little bit subversive, leave now.
Please don't be offended if I don't accept your friends invitation - I'm only accepting invites from people I know outside MySpace or that I find I have a great deal in common with. If I wasn't getting spammed so much, I'd reconsider.
Who I'd like to meet: Jason Manns (again! Score - can I go for 3??), Steve Carlson (third time was the charm!), Christian Kane (again!), Common Rotation (again!), James Marsters (again!), Joss Whedon, Betsy Morris, Jensen Ackles (MET! WOOT! Again???), Jared Padalecki, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, my online friends (some of them, again!) I miss you Sis! PS - Adam James (aka AJ20) if you're around, message me Big Daddy! I miss talking to you - I wanna know how things are going.
Hope you're having a great 2009 so far. Maybe you've already seen the trailer for "My Big Break" - or even the movie. But in case you haven't yet, we're inviting all our friends to take a look at the trailer on our Myspace page.
We're really glad to be getting such great feedback about the documentary. It's probably the most truthful film you've ever seen about the struggle to pursue a creative dream in Hollywood.
If you want to get one of the limited release DVDs - you can go to the official site at www. mybigbreakmovie. com and order directly from us or order it through the link to Amazon. com. that you'll find on the site.
A very special thanks to you if you already got your copy!

YAY! YAY! YAY! It just wouldn't be the same without you and I want to see you!!!! It's weird that it was just a month ago that I saw you but I miss you and can't wait to see you again!! Plus I can't have my first Steve concert be complete without you there! =)
Please tell me you are taking enough of a break from house fixing to make it to Steve's show on the 26th cause I am flying ALL the way in from Texas?!?!?
