At GEM MAGIC INC. we believe that music is the heartbeat of everything cosmologically conceivable and if applied positively can be a powerful driver in the advancement of humanity.
GEM MAGIC INC. is the brainchild of Harlem Gem and set up to be a central focus for positive, progressive and powerful urban music. The organisation consists of five main elements namely; three record labels GEM MAGIC, BLACK PEARL and EKQ Recordins, a publishing arm GEM MUSIC and an urban enterprise entity THE GEM DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (GDA). Each of the labels will specialise in their own niche or genres covering the whole urban spectrum in its current and progressive forms. No matter what flavour GEM MAGIC INC. will endeavour to have a viable involvement.
At GEM MAGIC INC., our philosophy is to simply make music for everyone to enjoy within the parameters of enterprise, sound ethics and value creation. GDA is central to realising that mission and through viable, effective and sustainable strategies, we aim to create a formidable presence within the market with our diverse product/service offering. Further, GDA sees itself as having a role to play in the advancement of humanity and condemns all forms of oppression. In particular, it will assist, guide and work with young people using music as a means to overcome urban transgression.
