Gen Art Film Festival Poster Contest

Here's a chance for you to win $1,000 and see your work highlighted throughout New York City! Gen Art is seeking emerging artists to submit original, unique poster artwork to drive awareness to the festival and ultimately our filmmakers this April!

This event is sure to be a cool way to start your Halloween. Eat free food, watch cool bloody videos made By Youth. There will be a special effects workshop conducted by professional Costume and Make up designer Chelsea Manifold. She will teach you all the cool and in expensive ways to trick and treat your friends. This is an open event, so bring your friends to MNN TV Studios. If you have cool scary films/videos you'd like to submit for the screening email us as well. This screening is sure to provide you with Great tips on how to dress-up before Halloween comes. Come and learn how you can make your own costumes and do your own makeup for that scary day, Halloween.

MNN's YOUTH CHANNEL	2009/8/12 15:34 Community Collaborations Would your organization like to make media about important issues affecting youth today? Youth Channel can host on-site and off-site trainings to your youth group. Our community collaborations are intended to build media literate youth through screenings of videos, discussions, pre-production lessons, and basic hands-on training. The workshops are not intended to be a technical certification program, but rather a media awareness development program that will provide participants with media exposure through media literacy and production skills. All trainings are project based, lasting from 6-8 weeks, and conducted by the YC Peer Trainers. In the past, YC and its community partners have collaborated to create a variety of youth made videos, including documentaries, public service announcements, acted narratives, sports journalism and broadcasting. To request an application for our long-term trainings, please email *Trainings@youthchannel.org*
