Hello...been a long time. Not on MySpace much but since you are, I am posting here, A. Let me know how I can get involved in helping grow GQR or contribute writing, events, etc. Thanks for supporting transgender and also significant others and those of us who were told we were too femme, too butch, etc... including all of us whose gender expression is not taken lightly.

Supporting and Empowering GenderQueer, Genderfabulous, Gender Non-Conforming Beings. Celebrating Gender-Giftedness in Every One.
GenderQueer Revolution: Supporting and Empowering GenderQueer, Genderfabulous Beings. Celebrating Gender-Giftedness in Every One. 1) A national organization dedicated to empowering people of all genders, helping people to embrace the gift of gender in their own lives and in the lives of others, supporting and cultivating genderqueer, gender-gifted individuals and communities, uniquely gender-gifted art, spirituality, research, and academics, and educating and building bridges across trans, gendered, queer, and non-queer communities and beyond. 2) A global movement, a powerful collection of many parts that come together to achieve and create a brilliant, powerful, unstoppable Whole, going beyond the tangible and into the level(s) of greatest potential
GenderQueer Revolution, truly a national (and increasingly international) organization, has several main loci, including a number of web-based communities (powerful and world-changing), Southern California, Northern California, the East Coast, and The South, although we plan and contribute to quite a few events in other areas as well.

If you would like to join the GenderQueer Revolution MySpace community and you have set your profile to "private," please write the moderators explaining why you want to add GenderQueer Revolution as a Friend (perhaps a little bit about your gender journey). We would like to keep this a safe space, for people of all genders, so please understand the heart behind this request. Thank you. Also, please, please be patient with us if we do not do not immediately add your friend request as we of GQR receive a high volume of requests and have many, many other world-changing things on our to-do list. :-)
In addition to participating through MySpace and at our events, we also invite you to join the discussion and get support for your gender-gifted self at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/genderqueerrevolution and also twitter.com/GQR.

Have you ever felt...
Like M, F, or even FTM and MTF aren’t enough? And certainly not "gay," "straight," or "queer?"
Or that your gender changes by the minute, hour, day, or season?
That maybe you were meant to have more than one gender?
Ever feel that your gender isn’t so clear cut? (Or that it falls right off the map?)
Tired of hearing, "You're just confused," when you already know who you are, or, you're comfortable with not knowing?
Does it ever bother you - or amuse you - when people say you're "too" "feminine" or "masculine," that you "look like a girl," or "a boy," whatever these words mean, with a tone that implies that that's a bad thing?
Ever wish people would just stop asking, whether sarcastically or seriously, when you're going to start hormones, have surgery, and "transition," with the assumption that these terms automatically apply to you? (They might, but that doesn't give others the right to assume).

Our stories tell us that genderqueer and gender non-conforming people need a safe haven, a uniquely genderqueer, gender-defying, gender-gifted, gender non-conforming non-binary space. In GenderQueer Revolution community space, no one will force you to choose a label. No one will oppose weekly, daily, or even hourly changes of name, pronouns, gender identity, gender expression, or style. You can choose to "wear" any gender configuration, revel in confusion, by choice or by circumstance, or not. Here, "genderqueer" does not mean "trans." It may, but it doesn't have to.

Beyond Labels. Beyond Gender. Beyond Arbitrary Distinctions and Divisions...
