I read and listened to your music page. I love your sound and music. Thank you for the opportunity to browse your page. I am really impressed with your work and would like to stay in contact with you. Please let me know when you post new material as I am working with so many bands I never know when new songs are released. I used to play in a band but circumstances have left me to write my thoughts and work closely with bands; and through writing in a magazine and freelancing on MySpace I am able to full fill that music void.
My passion is in the music and here on the spaces there is so much from everywhere. There is so much to be appreciated to be able to listen to a variety of music; some signed and some unsigned. I am a music critic and taking a break for the season. I do miss the challenges of critiquing the music but I may not be back to my critic work on My Space as have taken time off for personal reasons. Music is Life, Like Air is to Breath...
"The aim of music, the aim of a life can only be to increase the sum of freedom and responsibility to be found in every man and in the world. It cannot, under any circumstances, be to reduce or suppress that freedom, even temporarily. No great work has ever been based on hatred and contempt. On the contrary, there is not a single true work of music that has not in the end added to the inner freedom of each person who has known and loved it." ~J .08
Giant fan since 1974, love playing, listening and exploring their music, saw their Dallas show in 81, civilian final tour, mind blowing. Hear something different every time. They are Number 1. Keep the Faith and Keep on Rockin'.
Hello. I am now your friend. This is very incredible knowledge, and all of your other friends are surely envious of the fact. Thank you for making music that is in tribute to one of the best musical music bands ever, I like all this.
A nice tribute to a great band! I'll have to try and make it to one of your gigs soon. 3 Friends, Octopus, Acquiring the Taste... after all these years they still sound great!
Another legendary British prog band is playing in Chicago soon (and will actually be on a full fledged U.S. tour). Van der Graaf Generator come to the Abbey on June 26 (I know you guys in GG are from Illinois). Hope to see some of you there.
