Weldon Fraker

There are so many people in my life who deserve a place here...people that have taught me lessons in love, life, and how to not be ashamed of who I am. I can only say that those people are special to me and hold a very high place in my heart. My mom is my greatest hero...she and my dad adopted my little brother and me in their later years when they should have been enjoying retirement, not raising two small children...after my dad died, she worked at menial jobs to supplement our income to see that we were clothed, fed, had a roof over our heads and were able to have some of the extra things we wanted. My roommate, Sandy, is another one of my heroes. She has stood by me through all the stupidity and all the silliness and all the good times for the last 15 years of my life. She is one of the rocks in my life. She is there for me when I need and I oftentimes forget to thank her. Another big hero in my life was my very dear friend, Kevin Green, who died a few years ago. He was dealt a cruel hand, partially his own fault, partially fate, but he played it the best way he knew until the very end. I loved him more than I ever told him and miss him terribly. Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" is my tribute to all the heroes in my life...you know who you are...God...Sandy...my family...my friends...my church family and especially Susan and my church choir...I am who I am because of all of you and I love you each more than I could ever begin to tell you!!!
