Hi Gene I'm so happy to tell you that my son Tony who is nine years old our cat "love" who is 10 years old and myself will be adopting 3 turkeys this season from Farm Sanctuary each of us will be adopting our own feathery friend :) we are very excited about it and can't wait to meet them in person when we come and visit the Farm !

I'm a highly emotional person so crying is common with me, BUT for some odd reason I didn't cry through the whole book, not UNTIL I read your epilogue-the part when you talk about burying Hilda. I hate that people don't want to recognize they are living beings like us. We all deserve a proper burial and recognition.
