| Bio | Several appearances on Late night with Conan O Brien and half hour standup specials on Comedy Central and Si TV and a few sketches on In Living Color way back in the days of yore.Mostly focus on standup and some comedy writing for Television.Born and raised in Los Angeles just like my parents.All of my grandparents came to Los Angeles from Mexico in the early 1900s except for my grandfather William Pompa who arrived in the 1930s .Please don't call me latino or hispanic my name is Gene Pompa and I'm Mexican American but I'm Chicano to the bone! Because of my fair skin and command of the english language some willfully ignorant people like to assume that I'm only half mexican because I don't validate the regressive stereotypes of hispanics for them .Fuck them this includes other latinos who hate their own people for being intelligent or articulate.Life is about progress for the next generation not standing still, so fuck you!
