“GPF – general protection fault“ is a Punk-Rock formation from around Wiener Neustadt (Lower Austria), founded in 2001 and playing together in the actual cast since the end of 2005. The perpetual melodic Punk-Rock tunes, which were more and more altered by various Metal influences in the course of time, made the band make a decision in finding its final description of style: Melodic Core. Over the intervening years GPF could locally make its mark beside Bands like Rentokill or Astpai under patronage of the Neustadtpunk Network and now is facing the release of the first longplayer Make my demon leave (StageDive-Records, 2006). Moreover, the release of two new featuring compilations (Triebwerk-Sampler, Musik von Hier-Sampler, both 2006) is just around the corner and GPF is highly motivated to start touring across Austria in summer 2006!!
