| About The Generation X (Band) |
|
Gen X was formed January of 2007 for the sole purpose of meeting the requirements of being an "FX Band" at the Dallas Texas Youth Evangelism Conference. Anthony and I (Zach) were both new to the idea, and neither of us really knew what we were doing. The band never left ground and eventually faded into the wind as we all went about our various activites of the summer.
"The Generation X Band Ep" was originally intended to be recorded and released for the summer of 2007, but was never finished. Most of the songs remained in a raw unfinished form and have yet to be revived at some point. (If Ever.) At most this site, and the band it represents remains here as a milestone to our first step ever into the world of music. Looking back even I see how noobish we were, and how crazy the idea even was. Having more than tripled what skill I had at the time, maybe someday I'll continue with music under a new name, or another band... but for now, things are as they are. The Generation X Band, lived only as an idea, and that's how it stands today.
