About me: …AS…WE…MOVE!!!
Never claiming to be connoisseurs of music, but conscious enough know good music and share an appreciation for the many artists that work tirelessly in producing the sounds that epitomize the word 'original', Generika HiFi Sound is a collective extending the reach of artists' material.
Comprising of CK1, A-Star, Puppa P & Greybeard, the Generika HiFi Sound emerged in 2004 with the Akufunkture event and is a culmination of a long standing desire to see & hear innovative, exciting & progressive music in the UK capital. Collectively, the sound isn't restricted to a particular genre of music and will play a multitude of well known tracks during a session, but the aim is to play unfamiliar work to a familiar group of people.
Akufunkture events are scheduled to occur throughout 2009 on a bimonthly basis and have previously held the weight of a high number of hugely talented artists, including The Mighty Jeddo (Jazz Reloaded), Max Cole, Simbad, Spoonface, Kay Suzuki, Jazznett & Abdul Shyllon... all of whom we appreciate for working with us in producing stellar live events.
And now to 2009.
Generika Hi-Fi’s returning to do good things again & is scheduled to kick off in March. The boys are back and getting together with some influential collectives for some flavorsome dj sessions and will be drawing out the little black book of artists to work with throughout the year & beyond.
Without mentioning an almost endless array of artist names in the vein hope that it attracts your musical interest, we'd like you to join the group.

The first date in the diary is due in a couple of weeks on
SATURDAY FEBRUARY 7TH at the BRIXTON BAR & GRILL. In celebration of the inauguration of President Obama we've coupled this event to tie in with Puppa's birthday (age to be reveled on the night). If you're feeling the credit crunch... feel no more because this one will be absolutely FREE ENTRY to attend.
