Generous Men is a young band from Uppsala, Sweden that took form in the summer of 2009. They combine elements from progressive rock from the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00'. Dream Theater, Flower Kings, Pink Floyd and Toto are among their biggest influences. The band is relatively newly established but the individual members have been in various configurations where they have among other things won the competition "Musik Direkt",participated in the Swedish program Idol and played with various jazz and pop/rock artists. During the summer of 2010 the band has begun recording their first album! The Album will be released in 2012!
