Genetik is an MC and producer. Born in Odessa, Ukraine, he moved to Vancouver in 92, Lived there for a year before moving to Kamloops, BC. First started writing in 2006, Adict was already in the process of working on Basic Values first lp "The Chronicle 8-P". Basic Value then released their 2nd album "Name Unknown" in 07, featured on 4 tracks off that and then took a half year break. In March 2008 he was ready to start recording again. The first track done was jump pumped, which was on the A&W mixtape that we released in April 08. Since then, he's been rippin tracks, all the shit thats gone down the past couple years has just motivated Genetik and shown him what is up. In summer of 2009 he moved to Vancouver. He's recording alot here so stay tuned for a mixtape soon. Some of the artists he's recorded with include Adict, Stylez J, Ace One, Cons1, Strayed Up, Solace Theory, Jessica Leigh, J-Yungen, Meta4, Lil White Out, Bouche Diggy, Third Eye Theory. Props go to the Ause crew -shoutout to the fam, and anyone thats helped him along the way at some point! Wouldn't be where he is today without all of you.
