Voilà, grande fan passionnée d'harmonica devant l'éternel, je joue de L'harmo depuis les années 90, et plus particulièrement du Blues mais sans m'y limiter. J'aime jouer toutes les formes de Blues , du plus acoustique au plus electrique. J'aborde aussi bien le 'Chicago blues, le 'mississippi blues , le Swing, Jump à connotation plus 'jazzy', que le Rockabilly, la roots musique, le folk, la country,le rock...
C'est après mes études en 'Histoire de l' Art et Archéologie' à l'Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) que j'ai eu l'occasion de faire quelques stages d'harmonica en 1994 et 95 avec JJ.Milteau ou Th. Crommen.
J'ai très vite joué en groupes pour ne plus arrêter puisque j'ai eu le plaisir de jouer successivement avec une série de groupes comme : The Melotown Blues Trio ( 1993-94 ); Blues Barocq ( 1995-98); The Backsliders ( 1995-98 ); Express Electric Band ( 1996-2000); Double Dose ( 1997-2000); Charles Lee Roy Bluesband (1999-2007); Migthty Roy & The Bluesdealers ( 2004- 2007 ); The Excello's ( 2000- ); Gamelle Blues ( 2000-); The 'Hobo Jungle' (2008-2009)
En dehors de ces formations figurent quelques artistes avec lesquels j'ai joué, ou joue encore, tels que Renaud Patigny, Bob Christopher, Les Coco Brothers,ou Marc Lelangue...
Quelques voyages aux USA m'ont permis de rencontrer et de jouer avec des musiciens tels que : Anthony Paul, R.J.Mischo, Red Archibald, Steve Freund, Johnny Nitro, Tail Dragger.
Actuellement je tourne principalement avec Les EXCELLO'S ( groupe de Swing/Jump/Blues ) cfr: www.exellos.tk. et les 'BLUESDEALERS' ( Blues &Boogie) ainsi qu'avec JOS STEEN artiste et multi-instrumentiste, atypique, anarchiste et surréaliste dans l'âme ( www.myspace.com/jossteen, nous venons de sortir un CD en duo, multi-instruments : ' HARD BOILED BLUES, Sojneets production n°34 (2009), CD disponible sur demande !
Grande fan de musiqque 'roots américaine' j'adore le folk, le Bluegrass le Oldtime, le cajun, je joue également (j'essaye) du banjo américain 'frailing et tout autre chose je joue aussi du Didgeridoo Whaoua !!! et de la scie musicale.

Here i am, A big harmonica fanatic before the Everlasting, i have been playing the blues harmonica since the 90es, but without restricting myself to this particular type of music.
I enjoy playing all kinds of Blues, from its most acoustic to its wildest electric forms, but i also tackle the Chicago blues as well as the Mississippi blues or the more party-oriented swing and jump blues. I also enjoy playing rockabilly, rock, country, folk, or American roots music.
After beeing initially graduated with a university degree in ' History of Arts and Archchéology' from the ULB, Brussels Free University, I had the opportunity to follow several serious 'harmonica' master classes in 1994 and 1995 with JJ.Milteau and Th.Crommen.
I quickly started playing in bands and never stopped ever since, and it is with sheer joy that i successively played with a series of bands such as 'The Melotown Blues Trio' ( 1993-94 ), 'Blues Barocq' (1995-98),' The Backsliders' (1995-98), 'Express Electric band' (1996-2000), The Hi-Heel Sneakers' (1996), ' Double Dose' (1997-2000), 'Charles Lee Roy Blues Band' (1999-2007), ' Mighty Roy & Yhe Bluesdealers' ( 2004 - 2007 ), The Excello's (2000 - ) and Gamelle Blues (2007 -).The Hobo Jungle (2008-2009)
Apart from these bands, i also played and still play with various artists such as Renaud Patigny ( boogie Woogie ), Bob Christopher, Coco Brothers or Marc Lelangue...
A few trips to the USA gave me the opportunity to meet and play with Anthony Paul , RJ.Mischo, Red Archibald, Steve Freund, Johnny Nitro, Tail Dragger, among others.
Today, i am essentially touring with ' The Excello's' ( a Swing and Jump Blues band ), see : www.excellos.tk , The Bluesdealers ( BLUES & Boogie ) and in duo with JOS STEEN ( atypische, multi-instrumentalist and surréalistic artist cfr : www.myspace.com/jossteen ) which who I made a CD called ' HARD BOILED BLUES' Sojneets production n°34 (2009) available now !
I am also working on new project.
Being a huge American Roots music fanatic, i love folk, Bluegrass, Oldtime and Cajun music, and i also play the American frailing banjo ( or at least i try ) and, talk about something totally different, i also play the Didgeridoo and Musical Saw ( wouaaaaw )....

You need to check out the new Victoria "Blowbox" Harp amp! I was instrumental in designing and getting into their line of top shelf amps. Go to youtube and search me "James Reeser" and there are a couple of recent vids featuring it.
It is a 45 watt 2X8 amp. It looks like a tweed head but yes it has 2 8" speakers in it. No one can believe such a fat rich tone comes from a little amp. It is versatile... light weight... It can be plugged into any speaker cab as it has 2, 4 and 8 ohm output taps. It also has a switch that makes it either a stock 59 Bassman if that is your tone (also for guitar if desired) or flip the switch for the harp special circuits and rich fat harp tone! And yes has plenty of power as a stand alone to keep up with just about any band.
