Create Your Badge.. About me huh?... well I was born n' raised in Troy, NY. Moved around alot in the Upstate area. Started working for Time Warner back in 2001 and am still with them. Ive had the luck to of met alot of people, for which many I still consider close friends. After my sister moved from Virgina to Hawaii with her husband and son, I began wanting to travel and experience new places too. It was always something to be mentioned that when you move away, you pretty much end up coming back. Once my mother passed in '06 and with really a handful of family left in the area all respectively living there own individual lives. Being a single guy what was there to lose on a blind jump across the country? So a co-worker and I were drunk and decided to put in transfers to Sunny California. Eyes wide shut as to what we were soon to expect, not similar to our pipe dreaming of it being as greener on this side than that of our origin. The adventurous part of it all was that we had no clue what to expect, what the area was going to be like, what office we were going to be transferred to... just a million unanswered things about a State neither of us had ever gone to much less been in 5 state vicinity of. In looking forward, a little more planning would be wise if not necessity and has been endowed into my thinking of my next (hopefully not quite as blind) leap of faith. The cross country drive is definitely a must do. However Id suggest allowing enough time to soak it all in instead of letting it stream by.
