The GenR8R commenced in Feb 05 as a safe and positive place for youth featuring both well known and young emerging bands from the local area.
It's now one of the leading All Age Live Music venues in the Newcastle area,
The events are loud and energetic, drug and alcohol free. Our aim is to have gigs that are affordable so you get great value as our door charges are the cheapest around. Even some international bands at local prices. There is lots of fun as well with giveaways from our sponsors Kuta Lines Surf Shop Redhead and Video Ezy Belmont. GenR8R also thanks Lake Macquarie City Council and Indent for their support.
GenR8R is run by a great team of volunteers from The Salvation Army Eastlakes Youth Ministry. Our Church auditorium has a great stage, great sound and lighting, and is very professional (heaps better than the garage) It can hold up to 800 people, which makes it an ideal venue for these live events. It's our vision to promote all the positives of live music.
God has given us a great gift of life, so we want to live it "to the max".
GENR8R is located at the SALVATION ARMY 360 PACIFIC HWY, BELMONT
02 49451912 .
