Movies
Netflix. I do go see a movie once a year or so. We rented Miss Potter from Netflix and it was the best movie I've seen in years. It made me want to go out and reread The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter series by Susan Wittig Albert.
Television
Don't watch it. We have a tv but get no reception and currently don't have a satellite. I takes too much time away from reading.
Books
All genres about 6 a week. Favorite authors change daily but long term favorites in no particular order and off the top of my head are Lois McMaster Bujold, Carl Hiaasen, Mary Balogh, Jane Austen, Barbara Kingsolver, Nancy Werlin, Robert A. Heinlein, Scott Westerfeld, Marsha Qualey, Kenneth Oppel, Charles de Lint, James H. Schimtz, Neil Gaiman, David Lubar, Cherie Bennett, Jeff Gottesfeld, Meredith Blevins, Madeline L'Engle, Ursula K. Le Guin
My passion for fiction leads me to write non-fiction about the genre fiction I love. I also write reviews because I believe in sharing the wealth of great reads.

About me: I make my living by writing about the books I read. More about that at Genrefluent. I live on the edge of a canyon in a handmade sustainable house. Skateboarding is my favorite spectator sport.

You're Anne of Green Gables!
by L.M. Montgomery Bright, chipper, vivid, but with the emotional fortitude of cottage
cheese, you make quite an impression on everyone you meet. You're impulsive, rash,
honest, and probably don't have a great relationship with your parents. People hurt
your feelings constantly, but your brazen honestly doesn't exactly treat others with
kid gloves. Ultimately, though, you win the hearts and minds of everyone that matters.
You spell your name with an E and you want everyone to know about it.

I'm not sure if I'm related to Cecil. There are a lot of people on my grandfather's side of the family I never met, and give the fact that he had 8 brothers and sisters, I could be related to a lot of Martinez' I don't know yet.!!
Just wanted to give you a heads up that my latest forensic crime thriller, Freezer Burn, is coming out June 3! It will be available in bookstores everywhere next week, and it’s available for preorder on Amazon right now! I'll be doing a bunch of events in and around Philadelphia. For details, see my profile. Thanks for the friendship!
