About Us
Steven Walter
Steven is a music fanatic and at various times has been obsessed with Elvis Presley, Heaven 17, Kool & the Gang and Tom Petty. However, his most enduring obsession is with Prince and he will happily bore you with the story of the time he went to an intimate gig at Prince’s studio, Paisley Park.
Steven has worked in and around the hospitality industry for over twenty years and since 1999, when he managed the near legendary Liverpool club, the Voodoo Room, he has worked closely with musicians and DJs.
Gavin Kendrick
Gavin is a writer, record collector, and aspiring saxophonist.
Musical influences? Osunlade to Sade, Sun-Ra to Chic, Quincy, Curtis, ?uestlove too; Hendrix to Hancock, 4Hero to Fela, Madlib and Dilla to Erykah Badu.
Gavin has worked alongside Steven Walter since 2002 as a DJ, promoter, and music consultant.
