Genuine Junk Band mix original soul-felt melodies with fun danceable grooves, hard hitting rhythm's, and personal lyrics about their journey through life. Combining the angelic vocals of Mary Gillum and the ballsy playing of the testosterone junkies, they create a sound that is as beautiful and serene as it is INTENSE AND IN YOUR FACE! But in a real groovin' kinda way!
--- They have released 2 eclectic albums both being distributed by 9 Lives Record Label, have toured nationally the past 3 years finding a place for their music with fans of nearly all types. The band also hosts an annual event called "Junk Jam" which gives local and regional artists the opportunity to perform in a friendly/non-competitive environment to showcase their talent for a new audience.
--- 2009 has been a productive year for the band. GJB was voted New Groove of the Month by jambands.com in April '09. They are releasing a new studio album produced by Eddie Ashworth(Sublime,LBDA), and are continuing to gain recognition for their live performances.
--- All in all, GJB is a group of genuine hardworking individuals constantly striving to make great music just hoping it resonates with listeners. So sit back, relax, enjoy the sounds and have a look around. Thanks! .

Great times had by the OHio Crowd! Eazy is right, the rain didn't stop us from having a great time, matter of fact, I wish we would have paced ourselves a little better! But hey, its all about the party at Junk Jam! Thanks for all your hard work for us!
We had a great time at the Junk Jam. Not even the rain could keep us down. Thanks for having us out. I really would've liked to catch some of your set, but we had to make it back to town overnight for some early Sunday commitments. How'd it go? The rain hold off? We look forward to doing many more shows with GJB, in Cincinnati, in Huntington and beyond.
