Even then, everybody loves a good ole fashioned "I ain't got no money for the rent" song. I live in East Nashville with my 3 legged dog named Chambers. Stop by for a home brew some time. Upright is my preferred instrument, but electric is a close second. Bass is my voice/alter ego. I can say all those things I can't get out in words with my bass. I play music that I am passionate about. If I don't stick to that, I start to hate myself for playing something I don't dig. I love all kinds of music, but obtained a little piece of paper in Jazz Studies from one of those 4 year institutions. I really love learning new styles and exploring the unfamiliar. Need a bassist? Hey, I'm looking for volunteers for the upcoming Rock Block Program. Essentially the program meets every Saturday starting February 7th. You would be in charge a a 4-5 piece band, help them work up a set, choose a band name/band logo for t-shirts, your band will record a demo and then play a show. Each band would rehearse for 2hrs with the hours being from 10am-8pm.
I know every Saturday for 3 months can be asking a lot BUT it'll be fun.I really just need 5 people to guarantee to be there every Saturday. I'd love to have some satellite volunteers to come in as well and teach specialized topics. Drop me a line if you're interested or if you know someone how is.
