Bio:

Geoff Hewitt is a dynamic singer-songwriter who hails from the frosty city of Buffalo, New York. He started learning his craft early, honing his skills in small clubs, coffeehouses, and also in the recording studio. To date, he has over 2,000 solo acoustic performances on his professional resume. Geoff is a seasoned music veteran and has been performing professionally for more than a dozen years. Influenced by artists like the Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Eagles and Tom Petty, he creates a unique driving acoustic rock sound. In 1992 his debut album Stellar Boulevard won critical acclaim in the Western New York Region. And 1998’s CD release, Daytrips & Manuscripts, earned him further respect and airplay from Buffalo’s music community. During his time in Buffalo, Geoff garnered over 10 Buffalo Music Award nominations, including a win for Best Solo Performer in 1998. Eager for a change, Geoff moved to Florida in 2003, and brought his high energy live act to the Sunshine State. The response was immediate! People love Geoff’s remarkable stage presence, and faithful performances of their favorite songs. And the recent addition of bass and drum sequencing means that Geoff can now carry a full-band sound along with him to a concert. Hewitt’s jaw-dropping repertoire of songs makes him a perfect fit for any club, private party, or corporate event. His set list ranges from 350-400 songs, and he is always happy to take your requests. Geoff’s main instrument is guitar, but he also is an accomplished harmonica player who can perform your favorites from artists such as Neil Young and Bob Dylan. With such versatility, Geoff’s concert calendar is always jam packed. Over the years, his tour schedule has taken him to places such as Key West and even the United Kingdom. Locally, he has worked for such clients as Disney, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville (Universal Orlando.), and the Radisson Resort (Kissimmee.) His unique brand of music, a close connection with the audience, and improvisational wit has earned him the nickname, The Acoustic Madman.
