I knew, early on, that I was going to be Funny. My parents are both funny. It doesn't skip a generation, like skin color. It's in the blood. So, I tried as hard as I could, and despite my teacher's best efforts, I became very, very funny. I ended up getting a degree in History, and working my way through Corporate America, private consulting, counseling, and debt (financial and emotional).
What I lack in energy and manufactured rage, I make up for with a tightly-worded material, and actual anger. The main targets are Blind Irony, Hubris, and Selfishness. If you’re not sure what "hubris" is and refuse to look it up, stop reading now. I am a bit of snob.
The best way for me to describe my own act is Funny, but I’ve been called "Smart," "Focused," and "Meaty." Intelligence is not always what you say, but also how you say it, and how much you pay to have it shouted at you by a heavy-set woman of South-Asian heritage. I love to laugh, to make you laugh, and the laugh you make. Cheers.
Also I was chosen to perform at the 2007 Vancouver Comedy Festival. Take THAT, Everett Holiday Inn.
AND, AND, AND... I was a Finalist (Top 5) in the 2007 Seattle International Comedy Competition.
If that matters. And it does.

Visualizing the day my big break comes along, and nobody minds that I’ve rendered the lead singer of Fall Out Boy a deaf mute.
Watching Nickelback be brought down in a strip mall by hyenas and gutted near the Julius. And I think any of Nickel’s "fans" who are already menstruating regularly should have to watch. This is also about fans of any Carter brother, Hinder, and the other crunch-puss bands out there. I’m coming for you.
That didn’t sound right.
Music
Your favorite band's recycled New Wave sound, ironic mustaches, jangly 1970s guitars, and wearing of girl jeans all are wonderful... reasons for them to die in a fiery car wash accident.
Check out Rosetta Tharpe on YouTube.
I Do like... Soul Coughing, Mike Doughty, Coheed&Cambria, Zep, SRV, Motley Crue, Metallica (pre-Load), The Smiths, Morcheeba, Morphine, Alkaline Trio (thank you to Brousseau and Reeder for getting me into them), Run DMC, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Emineminem, Tool, Wu-Tang, Jay-Z, Common, Mos Def, Talib, Stevie Wonder, Shawn Colvin, Gwen Stefani, Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Pulley (again, thank you Brousseau), Def Leppard, and pretty much anything that Killorn O'Neill wouldn't recommend. The Big Lebowski, Shawshank Redemption, almost everything Tim Burton, Luc Beson is great, Antonioni, Hitchcock - The Master, Pixar, and plenty of others that listing here would be masturbatory if not a waste of time.
Television
HAX-TV
and I'll watch anything with Ricky Gervais in it. Also, The Office (US version) is surprising me on a weekly basis. Sportswise, just about any college football game, most anything that has to do with football, college women's gymnastics, and Bud Light commercials.
If you aren't watching some form of "Deadwood" at every possible moment, you are missing the best TV series in the history of TV.
Band Of Brothers,
Lost,
Rock Of Love,
Rob & Big, Good Eats, Iron Chef America, Everyday Italian... oh, Giada.

About me: Cynically Positive, Upper body strength, lower body sturdiness, mid-body control, limber of mind, languid of ego, crazy-loud farts, if what bothers you is minutiae I will constantly talk about it around you, a sixth sense of humor, titanium lower leg-rod(left), memorable kisser, writing, run-on sentences, firm belief in a Universal Power that is conspiring to help me achieve greatness, delusions of grandeur, STD-free, cooking, sardonic, sarcastic, minorly caustic, reality-vision, and I give brief answers.
I'm a writer, first and foremostedly. I perform stand-up comedy, and I focus on the ironically blind beauty of humanity. I choose to be the kind of person I would want to hang out with. Ego is a target, always.
For those who enjoy comedy and laughing, discovering a talented comedic performer for the first time is one of the greatest parts of going to see shows. At any given time, you could be seeing the next Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, or Dave Attell before anyone knows who they are. That’s awesome.
Last night at Ballgame’s Laugh Lounge, Geoff Lott popped his Laugh Lounge cherry with a very intelligent, hilarious, and clean set. I had not see Geoff before but I get that same feeling I got when I saw Ryan Sickler, Christina P., and Tom Segura…he’s got “IT”. I have a feeling it’s do to his ability to write…and write…and write. Keep an eye out for Geoff around town, I think you’ll like what he’s got.
Who I'd like to meet: People who are funny, intelligent, and have a sense of humor about life and themselves.
AND/OR
Somebody who can help me make money off real-estate for no money down, and it won’t require me calling Squatter’s Rights in someone’s living room while holding a perturbed wolverine.
AND/OR
People who understand that Life isn’t about carving out a niche to wallow in until they pile the dirt on top of you. It’s about challenging yourself, growing from the lesson you learned, wisely applying that lesson to other areas, and sharing that lesson with others so they don’t overpay their masseuse OR WHATEVER it was you did. I don’t base my identity on someone else’s life or achievements; I have screwed up before, I may do so again, but I don’t make the same mistakes twice. Just check my paternity tests.
I am so excited I can't wait. I am also terrified. We have no idea what we are doing or where the money is coming from. I just want the move to be over and done with. I am so glad that you guys are already down there, it will help soo much I think.
hey Geoff! how are ya? see you relocated? how is the new surroundings? seattle is old up here lol. Cardinals all the way. me and my wife are going to a superbowl party so we are definitely hoping they pull through. you doing any shows in seattle soon? My wife and I watch you on you tube all the time lol. and Geoff Brousseau.
Thanks again for taking care of us at the Tropicana last week. We all had a fantastic time and it made for a great birthday. Hopefully, I'll catch you while your in town.
Geoff, you are too funny! I have used your childhood story to calm myself when my son comes home in trouble for calling somebody a funny name or did something that I think is funny but he still got in trouble. Guess I have a long road ahead of me..but if it is filled with laughter, all that much better! Hope you are doing well! Cynthia
