The Geoffro Cause brings a unique sound comprised of many different styles of music. The Cause brings a twisted mixture of funk-rock, soul, and hip-hop. The original band line-up officially formed in 2003 when songwriter Geoff Earley aka "Geoffro" (Cleveland, OH) hooked up with drummer Tad Sutton (Woodbridge, VA) in the college scene of Boston, MA. With a vast catalog of music, the two were determined to bring a new "live-drummer" sound to Geoffro's original jams. Immediately people were loving this new, yet familiar party sound as the Cause started out playing small venues, and a house party here and there in Beantown. After a twist of fate, Geoffro moved to Los Angeles to get a change of scenary. As a result, a new mature live sound has evolved, along with fresh studio and songwriting ideas. The Geoffro Cause delivers a constant flow of hip-party music that carries insightful, witty, and often introspective lyrics into head-nodding grooves to keep the people movin.
