After touring around OZ for the last 3 years clocking up 200 shows and covering a massive 60,000 kms of the Australian continent. It is only fitting that Geoff's new album would be titled "Transit Bandit. Produced by Steve JAmes at rockinghorse studios byron bay the album features Geoff in both solo and band format and a massive national tour is scheduled for 2008.
Over the years Geoff has slotted an array of festivals including, FOTS, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Nimbin Mardigrass, Brisbane’s Urban Blues and Roots festival, Castlemaine state festival, Newcastle Blues Festival, Day In The Vines, and was recently awarded ‘Best New Talent’ and ‘Best Male Vocalist’ at Newcastle Blues Festival ‘07’. He has also supported some top OZ acts including COG, GOTYE, Lior, Vasco Era, Ash Grunwald, The Mess Hall, HATZ fitz etc
With his idividual approach Turnbull has received critically acclaimed reviews, being rated alongside the greats of Ben Harper, John Butler & Xavier Rudd .
