Music
The Clash, The Who, NOFX, X, Sluts For Hire, Tori Amos, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Lou Reed, Bowie, Pink Floyd, any era except The Division Bell. R.I.P., SYD BARRETT! G.G Allin, Camper Van Beethoven, Ludwig van Beethoven, Kipp McLeod, The Doors, (even though Kipp hates 'em) Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Mindless Self Indulgence, Eugene Chadbourne, Nirvana, The Oogie Boogie Rockers (yes, I like, and listen to my own band) Lots of other stuff. Just because I didn't name them, doesn't mean I don't like them. Then again, maybe it does! Pretty much old school, with a splash of newer stuff here and there.

Published contributing writer, The 808 Scene Zine. I choose what and whom I write about, and I only choose to write about the things and people I like. More of my reviews are available at Reviews on a Rock.
Those who know me can tell you that if nothing else, I am brutally honest, particularly about my art and my feelings. I write about whatever comes to mind, including the most personal aspects of my life, and I usually don't shroud my songs in symbolism or cryptic-poetry. I understand that this makes some folks uncomfortable, and I have written about that, too! Some music is for dancing, some for crying, smiling or fucking. Some is for squirming. Beneath the venomous surface you will still find a foundation of humor, or vice-versa. If you haven't said something to offend someone, you probably haven't said anything worth saying.
I don't remember who said that first.
Another good pearl of wisdom:
The search for the truth outside one's self is a noble endeavor. The search for the truth within, now THAT takes balls!
No reference for this either, it just occurred to me one day.
DRANGE'S LAW: Taking the "us" or "them" out of "us or them" says a lot more about us than it does about them.
Into controversial, strange, and funny music! Too many to name, but I'll name a few in my Music section.
