"I drop that Heart album, then I start off with a...new lease on life, better ask about me!"
As you may know I started that Heart Healthy challenge, mashing up two goals I have, finally completing an album and losing weight. I plan to release my album when I reach 220 pounds. I started off at 274 pounds! Keep up with the blogs to keep up with my adventure in health. The landscape of Hip Hop has changed dramatically, some artists don’t even want 30 plus dudes listening or dancing to their music. So this album is directed at peeps that are steadily being thrust into adulthood with money, family, and responsibilites, especially in this recession, and in the process their own health has taken a back seat. I think this album can relate to peeps in their late 20s, early 30s and beyond. I believe Hip Hop should help people rise from adversity and appreciate other artists that can do the same with their music, if you preaching the opposite keep it in the junk food category because I'm not fucking with that anymore. I'm a grown man who's life has changed dramatically, looking ahead, and my hip hop has to do the same. I don't listen to this fucking music, just to listen, I listen for the nutrition.
