Well, at age 10 and pissed at my parents for being parents I bought a $7 guitar that could bloody my fingers in five minutes. The strings were about a foot from the guitar neck! I soon discovered that attics were a great place to hide out. I'm now a singer-songwriter. I have two CD's, "Maybe This Time", and "Be Yourself" and working on a third. They represent a book of poetry that happen to be on CD's. I have no illusions of grandeur, but enjoy playing for small groups.
The Good Dog Band seems to appear when I'm ready to record a CD. I've had some great musicians help out and make the music come alive. The song writing is improving as time goes on and that inspires me to continue writing. I enjoy playing with others, but it is difficult to maintain "groups" so I continue on my own finding my way through the strings and the sharps and flats. The songs are personal and recently becoming fun. I hope you enjoy them.

Hi George, Thanks for reaching out. Like your sound a lot, reminding me of James Taylor. Very sweet! Keep up the good work! Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year 2008, Sylkie Monoff
Hey George! Thanks for sharing your space with us! Guess you found us through the JT page? It sound like you've moved on from the Five and Dime guitar!! As a parent myself I find it really useful to have my kids pissed at me from time to time. Two of them are now fine musicians - so it worked for them too! Keep on keepin' on! Big Blue Skies from Bohemia Road!
