The george has been a vegeterian and vegan pub for over 15 years. The pub has recently been taken over by new management.
Situated on Trafalgar Street near the North Laines and Brighton Train Station we are devoted to serving the finest vegeterian and vegan food. The pub has a very welcoming atmosphere and we encourage everyone to experience our vegeterian cuisine even if you are not a veggie. We welcome families and have recently launched a new childrens menu. You can even bring your four-legged friends in with you.
Our staff are friendly and extremely helpful in ensuring customer satisfaction. We offer a variety of vegeterian and vegan wines to suit all as well as a selecetion of vegeterian ales and lagers.
Our Food menu offers a variety of freshly prepared vegan and vegeterian dishes, including starters, light bites, main meals and our daily specials. We also offer a childrens menu and daily dessert menu. Our Sunday menu includes our famous nut and struddle roasts which are served with all the trimmings. There is no need to book in advance however we do take bookings for special occasions.
We hold a free quiz every sunday evening from 8:30pm which is hosted by the one and only Mike. There are great prizes up for grabs for the top 3 teams every week, so if you think that you have what it takes to be the brains of the george come down and give it a go.
