Hi George...just wanted to say thanks again for the guest passes for the Chicago performance. Hope things are going well for you. Deb and I decided to stay in Chicago until Monday because of the rain! It really didn't matter because it still rained. Take care my friend and keep in touch!
George - You and Todd were great last night. Nice to have been able to spend a few minutes with you before the show. Hope to see you in Pomeroy this summer! Deb
Here is a pic of you and Todd at Lifestyles last Friday. (bad pic, low lite, old camera) Brad liked the 2-headed George thing, so I thought I'd send it on. Loved your stuff! Great meeting you. Sorry about the dinner fiasco in Covington, didn't know the kitchen at the cafe was closed! We ended up at Steak and Shake then headed back to the ranch. Better than Waffle House, but not much.
From the April 9th show, an explanation of Todd's standing in music world. Your name in title, "Todd Rundgren with George Hertzel"
"Todd Rundgren is universally regarded as the most influential and innovative music artist of his generation. For the past 35 years, as a musician, singer/songwriter, record producer and multimedia artist, he has consistently been on the bleeding edge. The true achievements of Rundgren's can be measured as a number of "firsts" that he pioneered himself, among which were the releases of the world's first commercial music video and the world's first interactive audio CDs. His fascinating 35-year career seems like a virtual rollercoaster ride which has taken him from garage band (The Nazz) to record producer and technological visionary, whose work is used by millions of people around the globe. Todd Rundgren is the acknowledged godfather of the marriage of music and multimedia." From the Madison Theatre website: http://www.madisontheateronline.com/viewevent.php?id=295
