GP has had his advertising compositions used for Alitalia, LandsEnd, General Motors, WQXR, Giorgio Moroder Films, Lange/Dynastar Skis, Merrell Footwear, Cadillac, Western Union, NYU, Time Warner...etc.
Recently, Petit had the honor of serving on a discussion panel at the Tribeca Film Festival here in New York. The panel moderator was the great jazz pianist, Eric Scott Reed. Other panelists were Mike Figgis (Director of Leaving Las Vegas as well as several installments of The Sopranos) and Bill Block, Director and writer of THE DRUMMER, an award-winning short that just won Best of Show (1st place) at the 41st International Houston Film Festival. petit composed music for the film.
