..LE NEC PLUS ULTRA DU ROCK PÉTROCHIMIQUE À MONTRÉAL.... Les Georges Leningrad est une histoire d'amour et de haine : celle de Bobo Boutin, Mingo L'Indien et Poney P. Ils se rencontrent en l'an deux mille lors d'une rixe dans une taverne de la rue Ontario à Montréal: la Terrasse Bellehumeur. Bobo est alors chanteur de charme itinérant, Mingo étudie la musique contemporaine à l'Université de Montréal. Poney écrit des centaines de chansons dans un cahier Canada et rêve de partager la scène avec les plus grands : Plume, Duchess Says, Sun Ra et Felix Kubin. Des riffs de synthétiseur ondulatoire à crochetons F2, une rythmique explosive inspirée du sambo (technique de combat qui a vue le jour en URSS vers 1930) et la voix sexy de "La Petite Amazone du Centre-Sud" nous plongent dans l'univers louche et imprévisible du Rock Pétrochimique. Ils ont joués aux quatre coins du monde, notamment lors des défilés Papou Chanel de Barcelone, Prague et Shawinigan... .. ..MONTREAL'S FINEST PETROCHEMICAL ROCK GROUP.... Les Georges Leningrad is a love and hate story : the one of Bobo Boutin, Mingo L'Idien and Poney P. They met in the year 2000 during a fight in an Ontario street tavern in Montreal: la Terrasse Bellehumeur. Bobo was at the time a bohemian singer, Mingo a contemporary music student at University of Montréal. Poney was writing hundreds of songs in a big schoolbook while dreaming of sharing the stage with the greatests : Plume, Duchess Says, Sun Ra and Felix Kubin. Eight note F2 undulating synthesizers riffs, an explosive rhytmic inspired by the sambo (russian self-defense technique invented in the 1930s) and the sexy voice of their "South Central Lil' Amazon" submerge us in the eerie & the unforeseeable universe of the Petrochemical Rock.
