cologne based george solar was infected by the magic of music at a very early age. in the early nineties, george joined the professional music circus as the percussionist of germany's first (and multicultural) live hiphop outfit EXPONENTIAL ENJOYMENT (feat. ade from BANTU and BROTHER'S KEEPERS a.o.).during that time, george also toured briefly with british folk pop outfit LATIN QUARTER (alongside former SADE drummer / percussionist martin ditcham).

ever since working on sound and production as part of leftfield electronica projects like SOLAR MOON, CHIN CHILLAZ and RUBBASOL since the early 90s, george managed to transform his groovy conclusions onto several 12inches and longplay albums as well as on roundabout 100 international hi-class compilations... like ultra chill, space night, coffeeshop, chilled grooves, black coffee, feelin’ good, moonray lounge, poets dub, blue bar uplifted... u name them.

as a remixer, george worked with and for dons like vienna based dub popster WALDECK, world music legends DIE DISSIDENTEN, istanbul based ORIENT EXPRESSIONS, german electronic music godfather KLAUS SCHULZE a.o... for and with the latter, george co-produced and played on parts of the legendary "KS contemporary works 1" 10CD box set.

in almost 2 decades of deejaying, george has shared decks with the likes of dj krush, kid loco, kemistry & storm, dj food, pathaan, bto spider, dixon and bruno e, played numerous reknown european clubs (like batofar, cargo, porgy & bess or stereo deluxe club), top notch chill spots like blue bar formentera and kumharas (ibiza) as well as various hi profile festivals (among them summer jam for no less than 7 times) and has opened shows for renommee top acts like moloko, garbage, massive attack, herbaliser, morcheeba and cinematic orchestra to name a few. radio / tv stations george dropped a dj set at include fm4 vienna, wdr, hr XXL, ibiza sonica and viva zwei.
so here’s to freestyle dancefloor vibes, funkdubjazztronics, beautiful beats and good taste. and it’s got 2 B funky, organic and positive... plus in dub most probably.

these days, you can find george spinning records during sports car presentations, in prestigeous VIP lounges at international art fairs or even providing on-the-spot yoga session soundtracks for US yoga dons. to george, it's all just music, it doesn't have to be about one dimensional clubbing neccessarily - and it's got to CHILL...

during the last months, george produced versions & songs for the latest RAZOOF album effort "life, love & unity" (on phazz-a-delic records), provided words, lyrics and other input to latest CAN7 spinoff project LEVTHAND, manages washington poetry angel JEN, wrote liner notes for the upcoming new KLAUS SCHULZE album "kontinuum", toured the balearic islands, joined the WAX ON records camp and prepares the 2nd volume of his very own dub compilation series COMFY DUB for worldwide release thru mconnexion...
