The Canary Effect: in-depth look at devastating U.S. policies on Indigenous Peoples

"The Canary Effect takes an in depth look at the devastating effect that US policies have had on the Indigenous people of America. Using beautifully crafted imagery it presents a chilling case to what many believe is an ongoing genocide of the American Indian. Featuring interviews with some of the leading scholars and exponents of Indigenous struggles, alongside revealing insight from those who work and live on reservations today, The Canary Effect creates a link between the past and present in a unique way never before explored on film. .."

The Meatrix 2.5 now online! Check it out at www.moremeatrix.com!

What happened to me after I was kidnapped in Meatrix 2? What really goes on in meat processing facilities? And what can you do? Answers to these questions, plus lots of Meatrix action, can be found online at www.moremeatrix.com!

The Meatrix 2.5 was produced by Sustainable Table and Free Range Studios for Participant Productions – to help promote the social action campaign surrounding the Participant Productions/Fox Searchlight Fast Food Nation movie (releasing on November 17th). The first action is to get people to eat more sustainable animal products by visiting the Eat Well Guide (www.eatwellguide.org) -- it’s an online directory of sustainably raised meat, poultry, dairy and eggs.

FUSE

Oct 28 2006 8:20 PM

Hey y'all,

We just dropped our brand new CD “Nine Cuts”. It’s full of killer tracks that we put a lot of love and labor into, mixing original street hip hop and live underground rock. Come on by the Fuse space and give it a listen. If you dig the sound, you can grab one for yourself for 5 bucks (+shipping & handling) at fuseplanet.com. We don’t rob our fans like record companies do. We give the people what the f*ck they want. Hope to see you soon at one of our shows…

One love,

The Fuse Family.
