I have a passion for music, movies, and guitars. Sometimes I think my guitar can speak for me better than I can. The language of music can express so much more emotion than any spoken words.
Music
Progressive rock mainly. Music that goes above and beyond the generic, formulaic template of a "song" that we imagine today. Anything with long, powerful instrumentals and meaningful lyrics.
Movies
Movies that mean something, instead of your run-of-the-mill throwaway comedy, action, or horror movie.
Television
I barely watch television, rather I wait for seasons of a show to be released on DVD. You can usually find me watching Monk, Home Improvement, The Office, or The Simpsons.
Books
A variety of things. I'm a fan of both the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings books, but I'd have to say, without a doubt, that my favorite authors are Stephen King and John Steinbeck.

R.I.P. Rick Wright 1943 - 2008. You will be missed. Shine on.

I am a bit of a complex person. Sometimes I'm mellow and rational, other times I'm spontaneous and a bit hyper. I have a passion for music, specifically classic rock, and guitars. I respect musicians who put a message into their music, instead of just letting other people write it for them.
