Saving babies from being murdered in the Abortion Holocaust, serving God, loving my neighbors, restoring my country to its Christian roots, reforming the Republican Party to eliminate RINO's/moderates (liberals). Talk radio and other media arts, especially the easy-to-use internet, are weapons the common person can use in addition to constant prayer to defeat the forces of evil.
Music
I found Manou Gallo on myspace. I don't understand a word that she's saying but I love the way she says it! I enjoy listening to jazz (especially bebop), easy listening, balladeers/torch singers, Willie Nelson, and wild Ursula Dudziak. Gospel music sends me heavenward! I find myself listening to the elevator music station more than any other.
Movies
"It's A Wonderful Life" is my all-time favorite movie because of its truthful message that the world would be drastically different if just one of us were not here.
I loved "The Big Fish" because it was beautiful, albeit weird. My wife, Diane, and I probably find about one movie a year that is worth our time to view.
Television
Anthony Bourdain is a bad boy that I thoroughly enjoy watching. Andrew Zimmern is a hoot! I live vicariously on the Travel Channel. Samantha Brown is sweet. The History and Discovery Channels, and HGTV are stops when I surf. Having worked at one of their affiliates, I often find PBS interesting, despite their blatant and disappointing liberal (anti-Christian) perspective.
I also host a weekly chat show on Austin's community access TV channel which is a therapeutic primal scream for me and my callers.
Books
The Holy Bible Douay-Rheims Version is the most important book ever written and should be studied in school before any other! Some other favorites are: How Green Was My Valley and The Road Less Traveled.
