07 GA Generals Dancer makes 2nd Rnd of Falcons Auditions
Generals Dance Team member Melissa attended the Falcons Auditions this weekend and made it to the second round. There were over 200 dancers at the auditions and the competition was strong. Unfortunately you can be an awesome dancer but they may already have someone with your hair color, look or so on.
We encourage our dancers to Audition for Pro teams and we will work with them on their goals to reach their dreams!
Congrats Melissa for such a great accomplishment. You are one more step forward.

D.J. Shockley Helped Kick-Off Georgia Generals Minor League Football Season Saturday July 12th in Johns Creek
Saturday, July 12th, the Generals opened the 2008 season in Johns Creek vs. the Macon Tiger Cats with a 38-0 Win. After posting an impressive 9 - 3 record in the inaugural 2007 season, the Generals look to improve in their second year and again march into the NAFL playoffs.
Both Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons fans were thrilled with a pre-game appearance by Atlanta Falcon quarterback D.J. Shockley who performed the ceremonial coin toss to start the game, greated fans and posed for pictures.
Halftime festivities included the introduction of the 2008 Georgia Generals Dance Team and a performance by Atlanta's Old School Drumline.
Tickets for the July 26th home game are available at all Ticketmaster outlets and online via ticketmaster.com or at the gate. Kids ages 12 and under wearing a sports jersey will get free admission.
The Generals play their home games at Northview High School in the north Fulton City of Johns Creek.

The Georgia Generals Dance Team were recently photographed by Photographer Michael Clifton. Michael has covered breaking news as an award winning U. S. Army photojournalist covering various stateside and foreign assignments. His photos have been published in USA Today, CMT.com, Sports Illustrated, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Sporting News. Mike has been involved in photography for nearly 30 years, the last six serving as a print journalist for the U. S. Army Reserve at Fort Gillem, Georgia.
As an Army journalist, he has been on a variety of interesting, demanding, yet fun assignments coast to coast and around the world including touring with NFL players with the USO overseas. The 08 Generals Dance team held a private 3 day retreat in June. The ladies spent 3 days together learning new techniques, get to know each other and have hair and makeup consults by D'Lor Salon and Spa and Eve Jade Artistry in addition to other activities geared toward bringing the team together and preparing them for the upcoming championship season.
D'Lor Salon and Spa and Shapes Dancewear owners recently judged the dance team finals where we selected 22 wonderful ladies to make up the team.

The Georgia Generals made the North Metro Area of Johns Creek their home to provide quality entertainment to North Metro football fans at a price that most any family budget can afford. The purpose of the Georgia Generals Dance Team is to promote and provide top quality entertainment to all fans. This type of top quality entertainment is how we will create an excellent reputation for the Dance Team, the Georgia Generals, and within the NAFL.
The Georgia Generals Dance team, a professional dance team of 17 dancers, made their debut under the direction of Zakiya Alta Lee (former Atlanta Hawks A- Town Dancer) as the 2007 NAFL Football Season Opened last summer. The season ended in November with the Football team losing only one game in the regular season and heading to the playoffs.
The Georgia Generals is a second year professional dance team who is now preparing for their second season by planning events and promotional appearances within the North Metro area. Send a message if you would like to book an appearance or have the dance team perform at your next event.
Formed in 2007, The Georgia Generals Minor League Football Organization strives to perform valuable services to both aspiring adult football players and our community at large.
