While many people enjoy singing in the shower, Georgia Murray has always preferred singing on the toilet.
Thanks to an acute case of irritable bowel syndrome as a youth, Georgia got a lot of practice.
But like her dad always said, either shit or get off the pot.
Taking his advice, Georgia decided she wanted to put her talents (singing) to the test.
Accompanied by her dad on guitar, she began performing for the guests at her family's business in Port McNeill.
Her summers growing up were spent washing dishes, mopping floors and entertaining.
Whether it was humming to a sink of dirty plates or creating lyrics on the loo, Georgia was always making music.
As much as the locals loved Georgia's talents, they thought it would be a good idea for her to start singing somewhere else.
So, off she went to Victoria, BC (hometown of fellow Canadian Nelly Furtado), formed the group "Divinity" with Ashleigh Eymann, and it wasn't long before Georgia met current DJ/producer/collaborator D Whiz.
Together they started writing songs and quickly got their hands on some recording equipment.
Once they finished their first demo, things started falling into place!
Georgia's first big break came when she got a chance to perform for one of Hollywood's most prolific TV writers/producers; David E. Kelley (Ally McBeal, L.A. Law).
David was so impressed that he wrote Georgia into the script of his ABC hit show Boston Legal as a lounge singer where she performed 2 songs in front of legendary actress Candice Bergen.
Soon after her debut TV appearance Georgia found herself in New York singing the National anthems for both the Knicks and Rangers, which lead to an invite to do the same for the Vancouver Canucks closer to home at GM Place.
As you read this, Georgia and D Whiz are locked down in the lab cooking up some audio narcotics to get you hooked.

I believe that being successful means having a balance of success stories across the many areas of your life. If you go looking for a friend, you're going to find they're very scarce. If you go out to be a friend, you'll find them everywhere.
True friendship is, when everything in the world is going wrong, all you have to do is look at that special person and, suddenly, everything in the world is right again.
