Geraldine Hickey's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | Entering Raw comedy 2001, Australia’s toughest and only nation wide comedy competition, Geraldine made it through to the National finals where she received runner-up. A natural Geraldine was born to tread the boards.
With three often sold out solo seasons at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and two Australia wide tours with the festival roadshow she has performed with some of the worlds finest comedians many of whom have commended her on her fresh approach to stand up. Her experience has grown her into the thinking crowds crumpet.
Geraldine could also be heard on the Triple M network as a regular co-host on ’Get this’ with Tony Martin and Ed Kavalee. She has also done numerous publicity appearances on Triple J, Nova and 774 ABC Radio National.
In 2006 Geraldine’s appearance on ’Stand up Australia’ on the Comedy Channel was voted in the top 10 for the best show of the year by the Australian public. This led to her securing a spot on the Australia Day special in 2007.
A cheeky funstar with self-deprecating charm and a refreshing honesty in her outlook. She is the specialist of poker faced hilarity. |

| General | Tori was a mountain goat that lived quite happily on a mountain. Tori loved to knit and she was quite good at it. Quite surprising really for a goat, although she did have modified knitting needles.
Phillip Manchester was a hardcore hiker, who happened to come across Tori whilst she was knitting a pair of booties. He was a little perplexed at what he saw and this showed on his face. Tori knew that she should probably explain that it was quite OK for her to be knitting as she had modified knitting needles, however she couldn't talk and was pretty sure that Phillip would not understand her sign langauge, so to avoid the need for any explanation she head butted Phillip off the side of the mountain, where he fell to his death.

I'm lazy. I find it hard to find things that I'm passionate about because it requires too much effort. For example I like watching soccer but I don't know players names or stats. I like Music, although I like listening to it rather than being concerned as to who's making it.
